Dance & all styles of movement practices.
Born and raised in The Netherlands by spiritual and creative parents who both studied Art at the GR Academy in Amsterdam, Indra grew up with a creative and playful heart. Indra started out as a ballerina at the age of 5 and continued with Jazz Ballet. As a teenager that transitioned into African and Latin styles like Dancehall and Hiphop. As an adult salsa, bachata and kizomba were added, which she still dances on a regular basis. With a passion for movement and dance she started to explore her journey into weightlifting, yoga and Pilates in 2002. Simultaneously she started with mindfulness to gain more clarity, focus and understanding in her self-development. That combination led to a deep yearning for more insight and study in the never-ending knowledge teachers passed on over the ages.
In 2015, Indra taught her first Yoga class which (by her surprise) sparked a profound sense of purpose. After a 14 year long career in Fashion Styling, Coordinating and managing, she flipped her field of work to become a guide in Yoga and Pilates. Since then she has taught more than 8000 hours of group classes and privates in total.
Teaching Style:
Indra leads adaptive, playful, down to earth and diverse classes. As a multi-skilled entrepreneur, her drive, creativity and love show up throughout her teaching. Indra’s guidance emanates from an intuitive field and allows space for her students to transform and empower themselves. She loves to touch all the layers of the energetic, emotional, mental and physical, within a sacred and safe container so that she may support others to find harmony within themselves.
Mission:
Her mission is now to empower and uplift others in reconnecting to their best version of themselves.
