NOT READY TO COMMIT?
This retreat invites you to reconnect with your essence, the part of you that moves, teaches, and leads from presence rather than performance. Through somatic movement, self-inquiry, touch, nature, and philosophy, you’ll explore what authenticity means for you as a teacher. You’ll gain tools to stay inspired, access your voice, and guide with confidence and care, not by becoming someone else, but by being more fully yourself. Whether you’re feeling stuck, burnt out, or simply ready to go deeper, this training offers a reset and a return, to your passion, your purpose, and your unique way of teaching.
YOU'LL LEAVE WITH
Tools to cultivate and sustain authentic presence as a teacher
Practices to reconnect with your voice, creativity, and intuition
An embodied approach to teaching rooted in nature, somatics & yoga philosophy
WHAT THEY ARE SAYING
Hear it from them
01

Authenticity through movement & presence
Teach from the inside out. Through self-inquiry, reflection, and somatic practices (inspired by Laban, Feldenkrais, and more), you’ll deepen body awareness, unlock intuitive movement, and discover how your natural way of being shapes your voice as a teacher.
02

Nature-inspired teaching & elemental wisdom
Explore the links between the outer and inner landscape. Through principles from Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine, you’ll learn to weave elemental themes, storytelling, and intention into your classes with more depth and clarity.
03

Yoga philosophy in daily life
Engage with core yoga concepts not as theory, but as living inspiration. You’ll reflect on how ancestral teachings can be reinterpreted in meaningful, personal ways, to support your growth both on and off the mat.

HANDS-ON TRAINING
A DAY AT THE TRAINING
WHY THIS TRAINING MATTERS
Many teachers lose touch with why they started. Classes become routine, the voice starts to sound borrowed, and the practice turns into a job.
This retreat is a week away to come back to yourself: six days by the sea, a small group, and time to practise, reflect and teach from a place that feels true.
You leave not with a new persona, but with more of who you already are, and the tools to keep it alive in your teaching.
YOU'LL BE ABLE TO
Teach from presence rather than performance
Weave elemental and seasonal themes into your classes
Bring yoga philosophy into class in a way that feels relevant today
Use somatic practice and self-inquiry to stay inspired as a teacher

Who you'll learn from
Fanny and Willemieke bring together a rich blend of precision and poetry, science and somatics. Fanny’s expertise in functional anatomy, fascia, and intelligent sequencing meets Willemieke’s background in dance, cultural anthropology, and presence-based movement. Together, they create a training space that is structured yet intuitive, where technique supports expression, and flow becomes something you feel from the inside out. Their shared guidance invites you to teach not just what you know, but what you embody.
I learned a lot during the week of the retreat, but also the week(s) that followed! That was the first time I attended a multi-day yoga retreat, so I had a lot to unpack afterwards.
Katerina
The retreat was a truly unique and invaluable experience that brought the theme of 'authentic presence' to life in a tangible and deeply inspiring way.
Hanna
It was one of the most transformative experiences of my life. The training was meticulously planned yet offered the flexibility to adapt to the group's energy and needs.
Naomi
This training was nothing like any training I have ever done before. It went so deep and so far beyond what I would expect.

YOUR QUESTIONS
Good to know
Do I need a Vinyasa background for the weekend trainings and immersives?
No. Our weekend trainings and immersives are open to teachers of any style: yoga, Pilates, barre or dance. Being familiar with flow-style classes helps, but you don't need a Vinyasa background or a 200h Vinyasa training.
Are the manuals included?
No, the manuals are given to you as part of the training.
Do I need to be enrolled in the 300h Modern Vinyasa training to join this module?
No, you’re welcome to join this module as a standalone training. If you decide later to enrol in the full 300h programme, this module will count toward your certification.
How good does my English need to be?
Our trainee & trainer(s) community is international and multilingual: you’ll hear many accents and cultural backgrounds in the room. You do need a good understanding of English and the ability to communicate in it, but your English doesn’t have to be perfect. You’re always welcome to ask for clarification or repetition during the training.
