NOT READY TO COMMIT?
The Art is about how you teach Yin. Over four Friday-and-Saturday blocks you work on the craft behind a quiet class: building a sequence, timing the holds, offering props and touch, and finding the words (and the silences) that help students settle. Through practice, theory and teaching labs, you find a way of teaching Yin that is clear, safe and your own.
YOU'LL LEAVE WITH
A clear method to sequence Yin classes with meaning
Confidence with props, adjustments and supportive touch
Your own voice for guiding stillness

WHY THIS TRAINING MATTERS
Yin looks simple: a few poses, long holds, a quiet room. Teaching it well is an art. The sequence, the timing, the words you choose and the silence you leave all shape what your students feel.
This module gives you the tools to make each of those choices on purpose, so your classes feel intentional and safe, not just slow.
It is one of the four modules of our 200h Yin Yoga Teacher Training, and stands on its own for teachers who want to refine how they teach Yin.
YOU'LL BE ABLE TO
Design Yin sequences with a clear theme and arc
Choose and time holds for different bodies and needs
Offer props and supportive touch with care and consent
Guide stillness with a calm, confident voice

Who you'll learn from
Indra Paternotte leads this module. With a background in movement, dance and mindfulness, she has been teaching for over two decades and more than 8,000 hours. Her classes blend anatomical intelligence, energetic sensitivity and creative expression, always with a focus on safety and self-awareness.
I recently completed the 50 hrs Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Indra, and I can honestly say it was a truly enriching and inspiring experience.

YOUR QUESTIONS
Good to know
Is homework given during the training?
You’ll receive a short list of things to review between weekends, usually a mix of reading, revisiting key material, and practising teaching.
That said, how much time you dedicate is completely up to you. We trust you to listen to your own rhythm and choose where to focus your energy, based on your interests and life responsibilities.
Are the manuals included?
No, the manuals are given to you as part of the training.
How good does my English need to be?
Our trainee & trainer(s) community is international and multilingual: you’ll hear many accents and cultural backgrounds in the room. You do need a good understanding of English and the ability to communicate in it, but your English doesn’t have to be perfect. You’re always welcome to ask for clarification or repetition during the training.
